Terms and conditions

  1. The terms and conditions of this Policy govern your use of ‘ICD’s job portal, an online platform for both job seekers and employers in education sector for job searching and hiring, respectively. The terms of this Policy are applicable to all persons who use or access the Portal on behalf of an educational institute or in an individual capacity, including authorized users representing the institute, its employees, or other persons using or accessing the Portal. Furthermore, anyone agreeing to the terms of this Policy on behalf of an institute represents and warrants that they have the authority to bind said institute to the Policy and are therefore accepting the terms and condition hereunder on behalf of the institute.
  2. ICD’s job portal is never involved in any communication taking place between Users and resultantly bears no responsibility for any information provided on the Portal, including without limitation, the quality, safety and legality of the jobs/resumes posted, the reliability or accuracy of the job listings, and the ability of employers to offer job opportunities to candidates and/or the ability of candidates to fill job vacancies.
  3. ICD’s job portal makes no implied or express representations or warranties regarding the completeness, timeliness or accuracy of the user content submitted on the Portal and shall not be held liable for any error results, whether directly or indirectly, from an individual’s reliance on information provided on the Portal by anyone other than ICD.
  4. ICD’s job portal reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove User Content from the Platform; however, no obligation exists on ICD to definitively undertake any such action.
  5. ICD’s job portal shall, in no manner or form, be responsible for the Portal services and/or User Content (1) meeting any party’s expectations or requirements’ (2) being secure or free from any errors, bugs, viruses and other harmful components’ and/or (3) functioning free of any and all interruption, theft or destruction.
  6. No liability shall be incurred by ICD’s job portal for any loss, damage, delays or failures arising out of use of the Portal and attributable to acts beyond ICD’s job portal control, including but not limited to acts of God, changes to laws, embargoes, wars, terrorist acts, acts or omissions of third-party’s, epidemics, explosions, socio-economic instability, natural calamities, power outages, weather conditions, acts of hackers, internet issues service providers, any outside forces that disrupt the functionality of the Portal and acts or omissions of the User or any third party.
  7. Neither ICD’s job portal nor any other party involved in creating, producing or delivering the portal content shall be liable for any incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of opportunity, loss of data, goodwill, service interruption, computer damage or system failure or the cost of substitute services arising out of or in connection with this policy or from the use of or inability to use the portal, services or content, whether such damages are based on warranty, contract, tort(including negligence), product liability, or any other legal theory and whether or not ICD’s job portal has been informed of the possibility of such damages.
  8. The exclusions and limitations set forth above are of essence to this policy.
